"AWANA" is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is adapted from the Bible verse in 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” 

Awana is a Bible-based boys and girls club offered at North Auburn Hills Baptist Church on Wednesday nights. Clubs for children in preschool through 5th grades, exciting activities tailored specifically for each age group. Each club offers Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, sports and games, social events, and all sorts of activities to encourage boys and girls to seek a personal relationship with Christ, to grow into young people who glorify God, and to train them in service to God.
