For nearly 60 years, Awana has been a leader in children’s ministry, helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ.
The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of Approved workmen are not ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible.
There are many children and adult workers involved in the Wednesday evening program. The clubbers meet each Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. and enjoy their time by memorizing important scripture, playing games, enjoying building quality friendships, and growing in their relationship with Christ.

What age levels are involved?

Children in pre-school are affectionately know as the Cubbies!
Children in grades kindergarten through the second grade like to be known as the Sparks!
